• Baton Rouge leads the all-time series record with 25 wins and 15 losses. This will be the 41^th meeting between the two ball clubs.
• These two teams first meet on February 19, 2005, when the two teams split a doubleheader. Southwest Mississippi won game one 7-4 and Baton Rouge won game two 11-4.
• The last meeting between the two teams was February 6, 2024 at Southeastern University. Southwest Mississippi rallied late to defeat the Bears 11-9.
