Bossier Parish Cavaliers use a seven run second inning to take a commanding lead that they would not relinquish on their way to a 16 to 6 victory over the Bears.
Bossier Parish got on the board first with a seven spot, in the second inning, to take an early 7-0 lead over the Bears. Baton Rouge would respond with two runs, in the second innings. Bo Barrilleaux, who singled, would score on a Kolby Blanchard double to left field. Blanchard would later score on a Cavalier's pass ball. After two, Bossier led 7 to 2. Bossier would add to their lead with another run, in the third inning. The Bears would respond with a run of their own ,in the bottom of the third, to pull within 8 to 3. William Veillon would get the Bears on the board with a home run to left field. Baton Rouge would continue to fight as they would add three more runs, in the fifth inning. They still trailed 8 to 6. The fifth inning would open, when Cameron Crawford would reach base by being hit by a pitch. William Veillon would single to left field scoring Crawford. Matthew Eskew would single to right field driving in Veillon and Jarrell.
Bossier would extend their lead to 10 to 6 with two homers by H Labourde and B Lade, in the sixth inning. Bossier would score five more runs in the eighth and ninth inning combined to grab the 16 to 6 victory. The Cavaliers' pitching staff would hold the Bears scoreless for the final four innings of the game.
Bossier Parish out hit Baton Rouge 17 to 10. Baton Rouge had three errors in the game.

William Veillon went 2 for 4 with 2 Runs and 2 RBIs. Includes a homer in the third inning.
Bo Barrilleaux went 2 for 4 with 1 Run
Matthew Eskew went 1 for 4 with 2 RBIs
Kolby Blanchard went 2 for 3 with 1 run, 1 RBI and 1 BB
