Bears jumped out to an early five to zero lead but a huge six inning by Delgado does the Bears in. Delgado takes game four of the series 12 to 8, in comeback fashion.  Baton Rouge was dealt an early blow when starting pitcher Keith Meier was taken out of the game after one batter due to an injury. But the Bears overcame and Payton Russell took over and dominated the Dolphins for four innings. BRCC got on the board first with one run in the second. Samuel Jarrell, who was hit by a pitch, scored when Evan Vickers reached on an error by the Dolphin's shortstop.

Bears would tact on four more runs, in the third, to take a commanding 5 to 0 lead.  It all started when Kolby Blanchard would single to lead off the inning and then Garrett Barrilleaux would walk. Lee Whitaker would single to second driving in Kolby Blanchard for the first run of the frame. Barrilleaux would score on a Samuel Jarrell single to right field.  Cameron Crawford would double to right field scoring Whitaker.  The hustling Samuel Jarrell would score on a pass ball.

Delgado would get on the board, in the fifth, when T. McManus would hit a three run homer to left field. Delgado would tie the score with a two run homer run by Freeman in sixth.  The Dolphins would explode for a total of seven runs, in the sixth, to take a 10 to 5 lead over the Bears. BRCC would respond with three runs of their own, in the bottom of the sixth, but still trailed 10 to 8. Garrett Barrilleaux would double driving in Vickers and Daugherty. Lee Whitaker would single to right field scoring Barrilleaux.

Delgado would add two insurance runs, one in the eighth and one in the ninth enroute to the 12 to 8 victory. Dolphins scattered 14 hits off of seven different Bears pitchers. Baton Rouge pounded out 11 hits but struck out 6 times.  Delgado hit three homers, in which, two were by Tyler McManus.

Sean Bretz got the win for Delgado.  He surrendered three runs on three hits in his two and two-thirds inning of work. Zach Roussel recorded the last ten outs to earn the save for the Dolphins. Brandon Morris got the loss for the Bears.  He pitched two and two-thirds innings allowing six runs on two hits.
