Bears used two big innings to defeat LSU Club Baseball 16 to 6 in seven innings. BRCC batted around, in the first inning, scoring eight runs. They added one run in the third inning and had another big inning in the sixth inning. After six innings the Bears held a 14 to 6 lead. In the seventh inning, the Bears scored two runs to end the game via the run rule. Hunter David opened the inning with a double and scored on a Michael Smith single. Troy Banks would double to left field bring in Michael Smith and the winning run. BRCC had 15 hits on the day.

Seth Daugherty went 3 for 5 with 2 Runs and 1 RBI
Kolby Blanchard went 2 for 5 with 1 Run and 3 RBIs
Hunter David went 1 for 2 with 3 Runs
Troy Banks went 1 for 1 with the game winning RBI
Garrett Barrilleaux went 2 for 4 with 3 Runs and 2 RBIs
Evan Vickers went 4 for 4 with 1 Run and 2 RBIs
Brandon Morris started the game and pitched a solid three innings allowing 2 Runs on 4 Hits while striking out 6
The Bears will be back in action tomorrow as they continue their stretch of games versus Jone County Junior College. The doubleheader starts at 3 pm at Pete Goldsby Field.
