Baton Rouge Bears take game two against Alvin 9 to 3.  BRCC finally got the timely hitting they have been missing all season, along with a solid pitching performance by Keith Meier to grab their second straight victory of the season.

Alvin got on the board first in the second inning with one run to take a 1 to 0 lead over the Bears.  The Bears added a run of their own in the third inning when Cameron Crawford led off with a double, was moved over by a Garrett Barrilleaux's sacrifice and later scored on a pass ball.

The Dolphins scored two runs in the third inning, when Turner scores on a Correa double and Correa scores on a Guitierrez single.  At the end of three innings, Alvin has a 3 to 1 lead over Baton Rouge.

BRCC tied the game at 3, in the fourth inning, with a pair of runs off of a Hunter David double and a Jonah Overland double.

BRCC took the lead in the fifth inning by capitalizing on errors by Alvin and timely hits. It started when Garret Smith was walked and moved over by Samuel Jarrell who reached on an error.  Seth Daugherty singled to third base to score Garrett Smith. Bears loaded the bases when Kolby Blanchard reached on an error.  Seth and Sam were driven home by a Hunter David single to left field. Bears score three runs in the top of the fifth inning to take a 6 to 3 lead over the Dolphins.
