Before the Bears home opener, Megan Sauviac, Ochsner Baton Rouge athletic trainer supervisor, presented the Ochsner Core Value Award to Men's Basketball student athlete Koren Williamson. BRCC and Ochsner has partner for their health care and athletic training services for the past five years. We are excited to be part of the Baton Rouge Ochsner Athletic Training Service expansion.
BRCC and our sports medicine partner Ochsner Baton Rouge are relentless in supporting our student- athletes. The Ochsner Core Value award recognizes a student athlete who displays the Ochsner core values both at school and in the community. This student-athlete displays Integrity, Excellence,Compassion, Teamwork and always puts other people first. Ochsner Sports Medicine would like to congratulate Men's Basketball student-athlete Koren Williamson for living these core values and being a role model for his teammates. Koren won two tickets to the New Orleans Saints game versus the Atlanta Falcons on November 22, courtesy of Ochsner.
